Liability Waiver & Release

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

Please read carefully. This is a legal document that affects your rights.

1. Inherent risks. I understand that horseback riding and being around horses involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: a horse's unpredictable reaction to sounds, sudden movement, people, animals or objects; falling or being thrown; being kicked, bitten, stepped on or crushed; uneven ground and weather conditions. These risks can cause serious injury or death even when every reasonable precaution is taken.

2. Assumption of risk. I voluntarily choose to participate in activities at Rancho Guaraguao LLC ("the Ranch") and I knowingly assume all risks, known and unknown.

3. Rules and safety. I agree to follow all instructions given by Ranch staff, to wear an approved helmet when mounted, closed-toe shoes and long pants, and to tell staff about any medical condition that could affect my safety.

4. Release. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Puerto Rico, I release and hold harmless Rancho Guaraguao LLC, its owners, staff, volunteers and landowners from any claim for injury, illness, death, or loss or damage to property arising from my participation, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

5. Medical treatment. I authorize the Ranch to seek emergency medical treatment for me (or the minor I sign for) if needed, and I accept responsibility for any related costs.

6. Photos. I agree that the Ranch may take photos or video during activities and use them for promotion, unless I tell staff in writing that I do not agree.

7. Minors. If I am signing for a minor, I confirm I am the parent or legal guardian and I agree to all terms above on the minor's behalf.

I have read this agreement, I understand it, and I sign it voluntarily.
